Thermoplastic polyester elastomers that have properties ranging from elastic to stiff
depending upon the formulation. These polymers are flexible at low temperatures, have good
resistance to heat aging and to oils at high temperature, are moldable even in thin sections,
and can be used to fabricate light-colored products; available in various grades for fabrication
by injection molding and extrusion. The fatigue resistance of these polymers makes them particularly
suitable for applications where repeated flexing or bending occurs.
The resins are available
in over 10 standard colors and custom colors are also available with a set minimum order.
Current applications include CVJ boots for cars, watch straps, shoe inserts and elastic hinges.
